The organization has developed enough manpower & infrastructure for implementing various social welfare programmes for community development.
The organisation has well-equipped 2500 sq. ft. Office space offices Birsanagar, Zone No.- 6 (B), Kalu Bagan (Near Jamshedpur Public School, New Baridih & Mazar & Radha Swamy Satsang), P.O.- Baridih, Jamshedpur-17, Distt.- East Singhbhum, Jharkhand.
It also has branch offices in various blocks of the district. All the offices are capable of catering training and exposure programs on specific themes, with minimum amenities and contributing to healthy environment for 30-45 participants. The offices have basic infrastructure for training, including computers, printers and other audio visual aids. It also has a small library and other facilities for documentation and information dissemination. The added advantage is that the trainees can have direct field experience through exposures to micro-finance activities and sustainable natural resource management activities in the project areas of Birsa Munda Welfare Foundation in Jamshedpur region. Besides, good collection of CDs, cassettes, PPTs, journals is at BIRSA MUNDA WELFARE FOUNDATION to provide backup materials for all kinds of learners. In addition, Birsa Munda Welfare Foundation also has the added advantage of accessing the infrastructure and exposure facility available with our consortium partners in East Singhbhum, Saraikela-Kharsawan & Jamshedpur district of Jharkhand state. BIRSA MUNDA WELFARE FOUNDATION has established good rapport with institutions and individuals within and outside the state to make resource pool and organize capacity building programs, studies and program monitoring on demand.
• The society immunized polio drops for 10304 children on 23/01/11 and 10443 children on 27/02/11 at Mango Dimina Road (MNAC). The total numbers of booths were 83 in which 80 booths were Static, 2 booths were transit & 1 booth was Mobile BoothThe total numbers of people suffering from handicap are 3867 in both of the district.
• With efforts of the organization District Legal services Authority, East Singhbhum trained 34 members of the organization for PARA LEGAL VOLUNTEER for maintaining alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand state. They will be responsible for running Legal Aid Clinic.
• The organization celebrates Birsa Jayanti on 15th November of every year in campus its campus at New Baridih in Jamshedpur of Jharkhand State.
• The organization also celebrates Birsa Shadat Diwas every year on 30th June of every year.
• Independence: – A non-governmental organization will disclose all legal, organizational or financial ties with corporations, governments, or other organizations that may materially affect the intentions, activities and impact of the NGO.
• Representation: – In dealing with governments, corporations, international organizations, a nongovernmental organization is always clear and honest about representing the members, donors, beneficiaries, or other stakeholders whose interests it is asked to represent.
• The organization organizes Routine immunization programme every year for the community.
• The organization organizes pulse polio immunization programme every year for the children between 0-5 years of age in East Singhbhoom district of Jharkhand state.

• The organization is conducted National environment awareness campaign at Jamshedpur district of Jharkhand state.

RESOURCE MOBILIZATION
Through micro linkages is the core area of Birsa Munda Welfare Foundation to accelerate economic empowerment strengthening people’s organization and enhancing participation. For promotion of community safety nets and entrepreneurship development for women self-help institutions, leveraging mainstream resources is another key initiative of Birsa Munda Welfare Foundation.
Through Capacity building building and Integration of community initiatives with PRIs – from designing process to implementation, strengthening community-based conflict resolution process related to NRM with backward & forward linkages. Besides, programme diversification for better resource management is another way out of Birsa Munda Welfare Foundation for distressed migrants and other vulnerable
• It aims to aware educate and develop- the people specially women, Children, SC/ST and Handicapped person through awareness programmes and formation of groups because most of the people of the project area of the society are uneducated and living below Poverty line as well as the condition of women is pathetic & dreadful. It works for the welfare of society at the very Grass root level like Poor, SC/ST and other downtrodden Classes.
• We strive to wipe Tears from every eye and radiate love and affection wherever we go. We cherish to widen the circle to cover the whole of the Humanity.

The society always aims at Social-service to the needy people. Every non-governmental organization in civil society has a mission for which it mobilizes support, influences governments, international organizations and corporations, raises funds, educates the public, dedicates resources, and represents its members, its beneficiaries, its donors or its stakeholders in a wider sense. In doing so a private NGO seeks to achieve public goods or contributes to social capital, promoting a wider cause than its own continuity. The fundamental responsibility of an NGO is to conduct its affairs in ways that do not adversely affect the peoples, communities, and natural resources it touches.
On different thematic areas, Birsa Munda Welfare Foundation has worked on collaborating projects with Government of Jharkhand, Government of India, Donor and supporting agencies and with institutes and organizations of national repute.
Project Coverage: Organisation development and RBM, rehabilitation and reconstruction; natural resource management and livelihood promotion; education; gender and diversity; water, sanitation, health and nutrition; appropriate technology promotion, capacity building and development communication.
